Genre photos
Crime Genre. In this photo we tried to depict a murder scene occurring. We used shadows to create a gloomy atmosphere in this photo and had the camera angle lower down,looking up at the shadow to indicate how we have to look up at the scene just like how the character has to look up at the weapon. The lack of colour is the shot also could indicate the time this photo was taken, perhaps in the 19th century.
Musical genre. In this photo were attempted to create a photo that represented the music genre. We showed the music through the use of the piano and Harriett showing a dancing motion. We aimed to get both the piano playing and dancing in shot to show as much as we could for this photo. The colour and setting shows how it would be set in a modern day society and the clothing worn also shows this.
Romance genre. We tried to show the romance genre through facial expressions and the camera angle. The facial expression presented on my face shows an element of surprise as well as love. We made the camera angle from behind the male figure in the shot to show how it is from his point of view as well as put emphasis on the flower being passed to the girl.
That shadow one is great.
